luxury pet accessories, pet accessories, dog beds
If you love to spoil your pet then there can be no better place to look at the moment then online. There is a serious lack of choice on the high street at the moment, with the only pet shops being generic ones where you can go to get your dog or cat food and a range of repetitive toys to choose from. If you want something different, then you have to look further afield, usually in a major city such as London. Don’t get me wrong, these type of pet shops are vitally important as are some of the larger ‘department store’ pet shops that have appeared on industrial estates recently, but now and again it’s nice to get something a little different from what everyone else has at the park, something a little bit more ‘designer’.
So for luxury pet accessories you are better off looking online. There is no shortage of suppliers on the internet and now we are starting to find some more reputable ones that don’t just ‘come and go’ overnight (I will touch on that later). Here are a few of my recommendations for some nice New Year gifts for both dogs and cats…..
Puppia Dog Harnesses.
Puppia are an Asian company that offer a range of very high quality soft dog harnesses. But like most of these companies, these harnesses are only for small breeds of dog which can be a little frustrating for owners of medium to large breeds. The quality of these harnesses are second to none, and in my own opinion the designs are unbeatable and also unmistakable. There are many cheap imitations out there, but stay clear of these and go for a brand you can trust.
Chester and Wells dog beds.
A relatively new brand on the Market, Chester and Wells Dog Beds are not too dissimilar to the reputable Wallace and Jones brand. Designs of note include the Hampton Dog bed, a very fine piece of contemporary furniture, and the Richmond dog bed, a unique design available in some stunning shades of leather. I particularly like the red and white versions of this bed. You cannot buy these dog beds direct, but there are lots of resellers online.
Puchi Petwear dog collars.
Puchi are a UK based company that have been around for quite some time now. I have used their products for years, their designs are unique, the quality of their products is very good and they represent very good value for money. Items of note include the ‘Choc Croc’ dog collar and lead set, a smart but subtle design, or if you like your pink then the only option is the Monte Carlo dog collar, the name says it all as this is truly a stunning collar that is guaranteed to turn heads. A nice company with a helpful customer service team, you can also find some reputable third parties that sell puchi products at slightly discounted prices.
Be careful who you purchase from.
The Luxury Pet Sector is one of the easier sectors to start an online business. This is good for the bedroom seller that wants to try their hand at selling online, but it does mean that many pet websites are run on a part time basis, which on many occasions can lead to a bad customer experience. Try to stay clear of any website that a) do not look professional b) are not updated regularly and c) do not have a customer services contact number.
