A good friend of mine is a full time dog trainer.  He has had his business now for about 2 years and he seems to always be busy.  Most of his clients bring in their puppies for training.  I can imagine that it must be a bit frustrating dealing with so many untrained animals but he thinks just the opposite.  He loves the challenge.  His specialty training technique is called dog clicker training.  Instead of using verbal commands he uses a small clicker to identify to the puppy what it is that he wants done. It amazes me that the puppy can actually figure this out but he tells me that they take to the training very quickly.  I currently do not own a dog but when I get my first puppy, he is going to my friend’s school.
